Using Virtual Background in Zoom

When to use it:

You and your team are in a zoom video conference, and you would like to block out your background. This is good for increasing privacy and preventing distractions.

In Zoom, open your settings by clicking on the gears icon on the top right.

Now, you should see a tab on the left that says “Virtual Background”. Select that and choose one of the backgrounds they’ve provided.

If you have a green screen, you can check the box, but if not leave it unchecked.

You’re done! If you do not like any of backgrounds, you can add your own by clicking the plus icon and clicking “Add Image”.

You can also change or remove your background during the conference. Click the arrow near the camera icon then “Choose Virtual Background”.
