When to use it:
You and your team need to work collaboratively on MS Office files, like Word, or Excel, or share other types of files with each other.
In Microsoft Teams, select the Team or Chat you want to share files with, then click in the Files Tab at the top
Drag and drop your file(s) over to the files window to upload, or click Share to upload a file. All files will be listed and available for those on your Team or Chat:
Once uploaded anyone in the Team or Chat can open the file, save a copy, or make changes:
If it is an excel spreadsheet they can work on it simultaneously directly in Teams (changes are saved as you make them, similar to Google Sheets):
If you want to later download and send it to someone via email for instance, select the file, and click the “Download” button towards the top:
