Opening an Outlook Data File (PST)

At times you may need to open an Outlook data file you have saved previously to your hard drive for archiving.

1. Launch Outlook
2. Go to File -> Open & Export
3. Click on Open Outlook Data File
4. Browse to the .pst file location (Usually a folder named Outlook Files)

It should open up under Outlook Data File in the folder navigation pane towards the left.

You may need to expand folders until you find what you are looking for.

To close the data file, right click it in the folder navigation pane and click Close.
