If you have connected but cannot hear the other party, try the following steps to see if any resolves it:
- Make sure the other party is not muted. You can do this by telling them in Zoom or typing in the chat.
- Make sure your sound is not muted and at an appropriate level. On PC's there should be a speaker icon on the bottom right you can click.
- Make sure the correct audio output is selected in Zoom's setting. You can find more information in our other article: https://helpdesk.uww.umass.edu/hc/en-us/articles/360045865092
If all else fails, you can can connect to conference using your phone by dialing. You can find the number by clicking Audio (or could be Join Audio) then Phone Call, or you can look for it in the original email invitation.
Once you're done with the conference, contact UWW Tech Support to resolve this.
