This issue is caused by an extended duration without connecting to UMass activation servers. You can resolve this by one of these methods:
- Launch Global Protect and Connect to UMass' VPN. Then let it run for at least 2 hours. For more information about setup and usage, here's a link: https://www.umass.edu/it/support/vpn/howinstallanduseglobalprotectvpnclient
- Go to UMass' campus, and connect to its WiFi called Eduroam. Then stay connected for at least 2 hours.
